Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. After achieving fame through his performances in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor appeared in more 20 feature films, including The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as Lost Law & Order, and several others. Qualls, who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a resilient fighter. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The body of his was greatly damaged by the treatment and the development of his body was slow down. As he was raised in poverty, he wanted to achieve financial stability. In an interview, he stated that if I don't have the financial security or find myself feeling out of control in the world I will feel miserable. Looking back at his youth, he wants to do something about the problem of bullying. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. His ideal role in film as well as in real life is the father. However, he does admit that most directors do not make him the ideal choice for those kinds of roles. In the future, he hopes to become father to the child.
